Evil Genius

Overlord Card, Journeys in the Dark

I - Rules

Card Type : Power
Threat Cost : 25
Treachery Cost : -
Discard Value : 5
Effect : Play this card at the start of your turn and place it face up in front of you. Draw 1 extra overlord card each turn.

II - Tactic

a) Overlord's Tactic

Like most other Power cards, Evil Genius is best played in the early stage of a quest. This card gives you many advantages and is well worth playing. First, it obviously gives you more cards in your hand, so more choice to decide your course of action. Secondly, since you have more cards to discard, you can save up more threat tokens. Lastly, the players will lose conquest tokens more rapidly because you will have to reshuffle your deck earlier. If you play with JITD only, you have 36 overlord cards in your deck, so it would normally take 18 turns before shuffling, but only 12 with Evil Genius.

b) Heroes' Tactic

Nothing much you can do.
