| Effect: | When an enemy figure movess into a space adjacent to you, you may spend 2 fatigue to immediately make 1 attack against that figure. You may do this once each time an enemy figure moves into an adjacent space. |
Road to Legend
The Alertness skill can be learned at Shika's Tree in the Advanced Campaign.
Sea of Blood
The Alertness skill is not available in the Sea of Blood Advanced Campaign.
II - Tactics
Alertness can save a hero's life a few times if he is able to deal sufficient damage to kill the attacking monster before it strikes. In vanilla Descent however, heroes don't often have 2 fatigue left to spend and if the overlord remembers well what skills each hero has, he can time the attacks of his minions accordingly.
In the Advanced campaign, where heroes can upgrade their maximum fatigue in the secret training areas, this skill becomes stronger.
